2020 was the year when art was explicitly catergorized as non-primary activity or non-essential by the government in most countries. What can art do in such a time?
Without a concrete answer in mind, I came to Nice, France this winter to co-curate an art exhibition titled NÔUS.
And we ended with an incredible result! During the 8 days in December 2020, we exhibited;
• 64 Artists
• 106 pieces of art works
• 7 performance events
• 8 online workshops
• 2 different types of mail art
• All at unconventional spaces such as private estate, pharmacy, bookstore, weekly protest march, mailboxes, and virtual websites.
Here are some photos and details below. 2021 will continue to be a challenging year, but remember to take care of your inspirations, share them with the others, and develop them into ideas.
